** Disclaimer **

It is your responsibility to use your baby carrier in a safe manner.  Please inspect your mei tai's stitching periodically.

 ~~~~~~~~
 My Mei-Tai's are made with durable, cotton fabrics.  They are reversible, and have an inner canvas to which all straps are securely attached.  The three layers give it heavy durability.  They can be used from newborn to 35lbs.  You can fold the bottom of the fabric under as you tie the bottom straps to adjust the height of your carrier.  The top flap can fold down for older babies, or stay upright for neck and head support.  The shoulder straps are lightly padded for comfort.
It may take a while to get used to getting your Mei-Tai on and off.  Please check out the directions, be patient and practice!
It's best to begin trying it out with a fed, happy baby.
With time, you will be able to use your carrier quickly and easily, and I think you'll fall in love!
The Mei-Tai design gives you skin-to-skin contact with your baby.  There is no material in between you, making it possible to nurse your baby.
Please check your Mei-Tai periodically for wear.  I guarantee the workmanship of my products, and if you are unsatisfied, please contact me for a refund or repair.
Wash your Mei-Tai in cold water, on gentle/delicate cycle or by hand.  Lay flat to dry.
I hope you and your baby enjoy your Mei-Tai Carrier!
Front Carry- Newborn
Step 1-
Choose the fabric you would like on the outside.
For a newborn or small baby, roll the carrier body at the waist straps.  This shortens the length of the carrier.  Then, tie the waist straps around your waist in a double knot.
Step 2-
Pick up your baby and place her on your chest.   You can choose to leave baby' feet under her, in the carrier, or have them around your waist.
Pull the carrier body up and drape each shoulder strap over your shoulder.  To do this, hold your baby with one hand, pull up the strap with the other.  Then, alternate.
Step 3-
Holding your baby with one hand, grab both shoulder straps behind your back with the other hand.  Grasp firmly.  Once you have a grasp on both straps, you can let go of your baby with your other hand.
Step 4-
Cross the shoulder straps in the back and bring them around to the front.
Step 5-
For a newborn or small baby, cross the straps across the baby's back.  Then, bring them back around behind you.  Crossing the straps across the carrier body, as opposed to under the baby's bottom, gives the newborn extra support, as well as adds a barrier on the sides of the carrier body.
Step 6-
Tie the shoulder straps behind your back, in a double knot.
Step 7-
Leave the carrier body flap up for extra head support.
Your' finished!
